Job Description What duties do people in this career have?
Paramedics also known as emergency medical technicians come in and rush to the scene of emergencies, provide immediate medical care, and get the patient to the hospital they give the patient whatever care and treatment they can until they reach the hospital.
What skills do they have?
EMTs with only basic training can administer first aid and perform basic procedures, including opening airways, giving oxygen, immobilizing fractures, and bandaging wounds.
Intermediate-level perform more advanced procedures. They take blood, use defibrillators to give lifesaving shocks to a stopped heart, and administer some types of medication.
Education
What education and training do you need to enter this career?
Formal training is necessary to become an EMT or paramedic and 2-year colleges. Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent, a driver’s license, and a first aid certificate. Also requires the student to complete a program that includes between 110 and 160 hours of classroom work, depending on the state. Training commonly includes 35 to 55 hours of additional classroom instruction. EMT-Paramedics can take an emergency medical technology program at college, which usually lasts up to 2 years.
What other qualifications are good to have?
EMTs should be agile and have good dexterity and physical coordination. They should also be able to lift and carry heavy loads. Good eyesight is important. However, they are allowed to wear glasses or contact lenses. It’s also important for them to have accurate color vision.

Spreadsheet Critical Thinking

Having a spreadsheet automatically will help businesses by entering information. If you make a spreadsheet by hand then if your boss would say to change something you would have to draw it all over again and throw away that paper to make a new one. But if you were to use it automatically then you would just have to change that tiny thing on the computer and not have to start all over again. So the electronic spreadsheet is more helpful and useful then writing the spreadsheet by hand. It will make it more easier and faster.
